Anger can be a powerful tool for self-awareness and conflict resolution when we listen to its wisdom and identify the needs it's going to bat for.

In The Surprising Purpose of Anger, Marshall Rosenberg points out how our anger alerts us to our unmet needs and carries an important message and energy for us to harness.  Anger can be a powerful tool for self-awareness and conflict resolution when we listen to its wisdom and identify the needs it’s going to bat for.

Instead of suppressing or reacting destructively to anger, we can use it as a wake up call and guide to understanding and addressing our deeper emotional and relational needs.  In this week’s podcast episode we explore the role of conscious anger in our lives, and how to use it in more relational and nonviolent ways.
